Joining the Team

How do I apply to work with your cleaning company?
You can apply by filling out our online application form. Once we review your details, we’ll be in touch to arrange a short interview and reference check.

Do I need cleaning experience?
Experience is preferred, but not essential. We look for reliable, hard-working people with attention to detail. Training and support can be provided.

Do I need to bring my own cleaning products or equipment?
You will need to bring your own products but we will help towards the cost of these.
Clients will he expected to provide large equipment, Vacuum cleaners, Mops etc.

Do I need a car or driving licence?
A car helps with travel between clients, but it’s not essential if you can get to your cleaning jobs reliably and on time.

Do I work as an employee or self-employed cleaner?
All our cleaners are self-employed, meaning you manage your own tax and national insurance. We provide regular, reliable work and handle client payments for you.

Work & Schedule

How many hours can I work each week?
It depends on your availability and location. Many of our cleaners work between 10–25 hours per week, but some take on more.

Can I choose which days I work?
Yes — you set your availability, and we match you with clients who fit your schedule.

Do I clean the same houses each week?
Yes, for regular clients we aim to keep the same cleaner for consistency.

What if I’m sick or can’t make a clean?
Let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule or arrange cover. Good communication is key.

Can I swap or cover other cleaners’ jobs?
Yes, we often offer cover work if another cleaner is away. It’s a great way to earn extra hours.

Pay & Payments

How much will I get paid?
Cleaners currently earn between £13 - £15 per hour

How often do I get paid?
Payments are made weekly or monthly via bank transfer after the work is completed.

Do I get paid if a client cancels last minute?
No, We will do our best to find alternative shifts for the day, Regular clients will bank the unused hours so even they cancel the hours will be available another time throughout that month.

Do I need to invoice?
Yes, You will need to send us an invoice with how many hours you have worked each week or month, We will check it with our logged hours and make payment accordingly.

Do I pay any fees to work with you?
No — there are no joining or admin fees.

Expectations & Conduct

What happens if a client isn’t happy?
We’ll contact you to discuss any feedback and help resolve it fairly. Clients must report issues within 24 hours of the clean.

Can I take tips from clients?
Yes, tips are yours to keep and are a great reflection of good work!

What should I do if something breaks or gets damaged during a clean?
Report it to us straight away so we can handle it properly with the client and insurance if needed.

Do I have to wear a uniform?
A clean, tidy appearance is essential, But also please make sure to wear something comfortable for cleaning.

How do I get more work or clients?
Keep your reliability and feedback high — we prioritise assigning new clients to our best-performing cleaners.
